About Pour Our Heart Out Ceramics

We started doing ceramics in the 1980's as a hobby. Not only did it progress into making special gifts for our family, but it became a way to spend quality time together with our two sons and daughter. With most of our families being in the military and others living in other states; a ceramic gift made it a simple way to find something for everyone. We had started a family tradition, were we would pick out Christmas ornaments to paint every year and place our initials and date on the back of them. We are now the proud owner of some of the best memories on our tree and the grand kids are starting to add to the collection. As the years have passed, we have had a lot of people that have seen our work encouraged us to open up a business. Four years ago, we went to a garage sale and found lots of very nice molds and a kiln for sale at a price we could not pass up. We began getting more involved at our house under the carport where we had room. Deals on ceramic molds just kept coming our way. Friends would come over and drag us out to where the sales were and again we would not be able to resist. Very quickly we had much more than a hobbyist should have around the house. As fate would have it Joanne Knoles came to us with an offer made to her by Betty Kuykendall, owner of Kirks Ambulance; for a building. There we were once again with a deal that a person just could not pass up. It was at that time Pour Our Heart Out Ceramics was born. We opened up with a few hundred molds, a pouring table and a kiln. The store was pushed into existence by some very loyal friends. Don’t misunderstand us, we love it, we just were not as confident as our friends. Now the shop, after buying out another store; is over 10,000 molds and 1,000’s of pieces on the shelves. We are even on Ebay and sell world wide, with our first sale being to Portugal. It has quickly grown into one of the biggest ceramic shops in the area. Come see for yourself, we are located at 302 G Ave in Lawton, just south of the Mall. If you do not know how to paint, we will teach you, or if you prefer, we will paint it for you. Bring the family too, they may just want a piece of their own to make as a gift, or begin their own memories. We have the lowest prices and even offer discounts to return customers.
